Belle Glos Meiomi Pinot Noir 2009

Grab your friends,  chill to a perfect 58 degrees especially on a hot summer day or night.  This Pinot Noir is from Vineyards throughout California coast such as Sonoma, Monterey and Santa Barbara.  Joseph J. Wagner is the winemaker.  He pays special attention to skill and producing wines that drink very well.

Mineral based with an earthy bouquet, mid palate presents bright fruit such as cherry, plum and blackberry and hints of vanilla. Medium bodied with a long finish.  Notable wine that is affordable and a delight to drink.  Some say they taste figs.  As for me, it is more about the heartiness, minerals, and noticeable tannins.  Try it with some goat cheese, pulled pork, or  Asian salmon with rice.

My rating *** Price $19-$24
