Located in the Alto Adige province of Northeast Italy. Hot summer day, this wine is fantastic, great value, so refreshing, crisp and light.
The label is so unique which makes it easy to spot on a shelf. Contemporary Italian Artist Riccardo Schweizer (1925-2004) had a long-standing friendship with Franz Haas and his wife, that he sketched this artwork as a present for them. They enjoyed his work so much they decided to use them for their wine labels. Inspiring, playful that portrays blending of art & science in the Kris winemaking process.
The Hand on the label represents the cultivating of the grapes and crafting of the wine. The kiss represents the lips that savor the wine. Beautiful artwork that has a story behind each designated label from this wonderful artist.
The bouquet is unlike many other Pinot Grigio’s, it has floral and citrus notes, the taste is soft, crisp, bold citrus flavors, apricots, minerals, ending with an almond finish.
Pairs well with salads, vegetables, seafood, risotto, and pasta dishes. Perfect for a relaxed hot summer BBQ, or beach (pool).
It is a wine with precision, quality and consistency and artistic in expression and package. Fantastic quality and value!
